During his 17 year tenure he earned the loving respect of the 250+ young men and staff that he mentored and cared for.

Steve “Big K” Kulgawchuk

“Big K”, a bigger than life character, loved “his” Abitibi Eskimos and was more than happy to tell you so. Everyone has a “Big K” story.
Steve was a loyal founding Board member and a key fundraiser for the organization.
Bill Nielsen

Bill was a dedicated behind the scenes guy and a humourous insightful advisor who loved the team nearly as much as his beloved Maple Leafs.
Each season the Bill Nielsen Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Most Community Minded player.
