NOJHL declares it’s Miller time

IROQUOIS FALLS - Abitibi Eskimos forward Ben Miller has been chosen as one of the Northern Ontario Junior ‘A’ Hockey League’s Three Stars of the Week.

The 18-year-old Timmins native scored his first two goals of the season and added an assist during the Eskimos 6-2 win over the Elliot Lake Bobcats on Saturday night at the Jus Jordan Arena.

Miller, who now has four points in the Eskimos first five games is well on his way to exceeding the five goals and 10 assists he produced during the 2012-13 campaign.

The other stars of the week are Soo Thunderbirds forward Gavin Burbach, who is tied for the league lead in points, and North Bay Trappers forward Kyle Baril, who helped lead his team to its first two victories of the season.
