THOMAS PERRY/THE DAILY PRESS Timmins Rock captain Derek Seguin fires a shot past Cochrane Crunch goalie Zach Wickson for a goal during the first period of Game 1 of the NOJHL’s East Division best-of-three play-in series at the McIntyre Arena Saturday night. The goal gave the Rock a 1-0 lead in a game they would go on to win 5-2. Game 2 of the series will be played Sunday night at the Tim Horton Event Centre in Cochrane, with Game 3 — if necessary — back at the McIntyre Arena Wednesday night.
