IROQUOIS FALLS – the Abitibi Eskimos are pleased to announce that Brady Clouthier will be suiting up for the black-and-gold this season. The 19-year old high-end forward toiled last year with the Brampton Bombers of the GOJHL while attending York University for Kinesiology (Bachelor Science). He plans to continue his studies at Northern College (Paramedic) – Timmins Campus.
Here’s what Bombers Head Coach Steve Hodson had to say about his former Assistant Captain:
“We are extremely sorry to see Brady leave the bombers organization but wish him well in his hockey and schooling endeavors. Brady is an extremely mature individual with superior leadership skills who will quickly become a fan favourite in Abitibi. Brady is a determined player who rarely loses puck battles. His shot blocking abilities are way above average and he does everything in his power to ensure team success. Brady is a player who can play in all situations and is an excellent addition to the Eskimos. We certainly wish Brady the Eskimos organization success in the coming season.”
The Eskimos have also moved gritty forward Nick Fountain to the Battlefords North Stars of the SIJHL accommodating the Wainwright Alberta native’s request to play closer to home.
