Robichaud named one of three stars

IROQUOIS FALLS - Abitibi Eskimos forward Erik Robichaud has been named one of the NOJHL’s Three Stars of the Week.

The 20-year-old Timmins native picked up six points in a pair of Eskimos games during the week.

His totals included a three goal and two assist effort against the North Bay Trappers during an 8-1 win on Feb. 18.

Robichaud also netted his 28th goal of the season during a 3-2 overtime loss to the Soo Thunderbirds on Saturday night. Robichaud now has 51 points in just 32 games with the Eskimos this season.

Soo Thunderbirds goalie Joel Horodziejczyk, who earned the victory in that game, and Espanola Rivermen forward Brandon Janke are the other two stars of the week.
