Local hockey team gearing up for the season

The Timmins Rock junior A hockey team and Gelinas, the team’s ambassador, gathered for Mayor Pirie’s declaration that Wednesday was Timmins Rock Day.
The Rock’s season home opener is Friday starting at 7 p.m. at the McIntyre Arena.
