NOJHL names its Eastlink TV 3 Stars of the Week

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Monday that forwards Harry Clark (Timmins Rock), Noah Boman (Soo Thunderbirds) and Derek Sequin (Timmins Rock) have been named its Eastlink TV 3 Stars of the Week for the period ending March 28.

HARRY CLARK, (F) TIMMINS ROCK – The 17-year-old Timmins product had goals in all three Rock victories over the time frame, notching four in total, along with supplying five assists to pace all NOJHL skaters offensively.

For the week, Clark collected the game-winner this past Wednesday, added a marker and set-up an additional tally Thursday then capped off his impressive run with a personal single-game-best six-point effort on Sunday.

Through 21 games on the campaign to date, he has registered 20 points in total on nine goals and 11 assists.

NOAH BOMAN, (F) SOO THUNDERBIRDS – Skating for his hometown Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., side, Boman was instrumental in a trio of triumphs against the Blind River Beavers to help conclude the Thunderbirds campaign.

Boman found the back of the net in each outing, scoring four times overall while chipping in with three assists for seven points in all.

The 20-year-old forward played at well over a point-per-game pace in his time in the league, racking up 94 in 61 match-ups on 33 tallies and 61 helpers.

DEREK SEGUIN, (F) TIMMINS ROCK – The NOJHL’s goal-leader this season with 22 so far, added five more to his yearly totals in three match-ups, including providing a hat trick and a game-winner.

Seguin also added an assist to help raise his overall league offensive totals to 180 points.

Boasting seven multi-goal performances on the campaign, he has achieved this feat on 21 occasions in his NOJHL tenure, including registering five hat tricks.
